Re: Drae's got Labs!
Oh, Tincup you made my day! I had cut out my fav seaweed snacks due to the saltiness. But maybe this is an excuse to enjoy some occasionally!Tincup wrote:Great progress!
As you switch salts, make sure you are getting your iodine. Either through an iodized salt or perhaps some sea veggies.

Drae, you are heading in the right direction, so keep on keeping on with the insulin resistance work. Susan, I always feel good when I hear your reassurance. Thank you! I asked for the homocysteine just tonight when responding to the Doctor. Will keep you posted. I really know nothing about the met...

Re: Drae's got Labs!
Here are some lab results from my new doctor. I'm posting them because mostly I have no idea how to interpret them in light of the protocol. Please respond if you have some light for me. =) Thanks in advance! Naturally, they show up a little wonky. TSH 2.150 uIU/mL 0.600 - 3.300 uIU/mL Free T4 1.23 ...

Re: Blog Post mentions Bredesen book--I feel like this is a shared accomplishment
Anne,
I do it both ways. I also hiked Sunday with my son. A hike with him or a friend whenever I can. Most of the time I'm by myself.. I find that much more rewarding than walking on sidewalks.
Thanks, and, go for it. You may want to check out all your county Greenways, for example.

Ah, the brain. You are an inspiration to me! I totally understand. Would you possibly like to get together? I have to cover the whole state to make my hikes, and, fortunately, live very central to it. PM me if you might be interested.

Susan, I totally agree. I am amazed. It has been five months. The changes seem to be sticking. =) I always enjoy your lovely on-point posts (not just to me). I was in a new State Park today and the Superintendent and Staffer were delighted to hear good news about Alzheimer's. I feel like Johnny Appl...
