CTE - Aaron Hernandez. APOE4 status known?
A Washington Post article of the analysis of former football player Aaron Hernandez's brain showed severe CTE at age 27. The reports I've seen sometimes discuss APOE4 as a risk factor. But no one reported that he was or was not a APOE4+. This is as close a statement as I could find anywhere: "M...

Re: How to find a Bredesen protocol-trained doctor
Sara - you are awesome! That works! I can't tell you how much this helps. :D :D :D :D :D At first I wondered if this was somehow being sneaky. But then I realized - IFM website access was part of my registration for the Dynamic Brain conference in June, so it is natural that I would have access rega...

Re: How to find a Bredesen protocol-trained doctor
I got a call from MPI. They were very helpful, and told me how many practitioners were in my general area. I did have to give some thought to the up-front fee. But this helps. Keeping in mind that they have a budding business to support.

Re: How to find a Bredesen protocol-trained doctor
Hi Julie! I sent an email last week. My dad did too. Sounds like they are just overwhelmed with emails and calls. So I put another call in today. We'll be patient. (PS - a while back my dad actually offered to send their GP for training....my family has been with this practice for generations....but...

Re: How to find a Bredesen protocol-trained doctor
I must be a little slow understanding the process. So first sign up at MPI for the ReCODE report $75/month for 1 year. Get the list of providers. Make an appointment. Discuss fees. Then, the labs are organized, data entered, and report generated? and the report suggests the way forward? Is that righ...

Re: How to find a Bredesen protocol-trained doctor
Thanks for all the information. Sounds like they are overwhelmed with interest. I still can't quite make out the websites. I did find the ReCODE sign-up page. But I would like to know that there are some training practitioners in the Baltimore/Annapolis area before committing. I'll keep reading, but...

Re: HDL helps clear beta-amyloid
Great. I struggle to get my HDL over 40. I think I saw somewhere that exercise has a strong beneficial effect on HDL. I've got the diet/supplements/sleep down pretty good. I had better start focusing more on the exercise, now. Me too. Struggle to get mine over 30, actually. :( I've done some ...

Re: Genesis of the 1500 IQ Humanoids
My first thought: if Elon Musk is right artificial intelligence will be the biggest threat of the future. We'll need IQs of 1000s just to have a chance against the machines. That won't be easy though. Bigger brains will require bigger skulls (just ask any labradoodle - the big brain of a -oodle in t...
