Pennsha, right now, just breathe. Right now, you're ok, you are. This is shocking, I understand. Many of us have gone through it. The first is the worst. Your age is a HUGE benefit. Incredible, ground breaking science is imminent, I really believe that. Stress and anxiety over your father's death ca...

Stavia, I agree on the angiogram...why in the world any insurance carrier would deny a patient with 82% calcium score is beyond me. My husband's brother who lives in Miami pays $1,500 every other year for an angiogram, which sounds like a reasonable price for his peace of mind... Regarding the pills...

Re: So much contradictory advice regarding diet!

Thanks for that story of your grandparents...very inspiring. I'm also a big believer in staying active regardless of challenges. I'm a natural early bird type, up at 4am, cheerful and alert...but don't try to talk to me after 8pm at night...I do miss out on evening activities, but love my early morn...

Re: Hormone Replacement Therapy E4 Women

I started hrt literally two weeks after my last period August last year. Somehow, I just knew that was my last cycle and it was! Kinda crazy that I knew that. So I started with the biest cream but it did not work for me as my estradiol serum levels dropped continuously to undetectable in five months...

CAC score zero

So I have to miss yet another group meet up because we're on a long, but very nice summer vacation. I routed our travel through Boulder to get a calcium scan at the facility you all are going to in a few weeks. Very nice staff. So my results came in yesterday and I have zero calcified plaque and cle...

Re: Glucose/Insulin 3-hour test result

I'm like George's friend, I use apidra for just a few meals. For instance, I'm on vacation and it's very difficult to eat like I do at home, especially as a vegetarian. At home, I can eat a medium carb and get on treadmill to hold off spike. So while traveling, having insulin is awesome. I am ridicu...

Alysson...couple of comments....good for you on the adoption! You're certainly experienced in dog therapy. I think it's a tossup between addressing emotional dog issues and physical dog issues...all of the above stresses me out because I love my fur babies SOOOO much. I think you guys are doing a ve...
