I think it is important to make sure that people are getting lots of vegetables in their diet as well as eating the colors of the rainbow. The first step toward changing a diet is not to stress about it. Always think about what good foods can be added in and crowd out the foods that are not serving your body. It's important to remember that everybody is different and it may take some time to fine tune what if right for you.

Regarding convenience foods, if possible try to prep and clean veggies, (ie.carrots, celery, snap peas) and put in individual zip lock bags so you can take them with you easily. Also nuts are a great snack on the run. I take these with me when I travel.
