sdLDL vs Small LDL-P

I know this topic has come up several times in the past. Thomas Dayspring posted this yesterday on Twitter:

"Do not confuse the two: sdLDL-C is cholesterol within LDLs sized 15.0-20.0 nm, but small LDL-P quantifies LDLs with diameter of 18-20.5 nm"

You're right! We've had multiple threads trying to dissect the difference between the two biomarkers. This is really helpful. Smart people, help me apply this new found knowledge... If someone has small LDL-P <90, can they still have sdLDL >30? And, can someone with sdLDL <30 still have high levels of small LDL-P? TIA.

The data above are from True Health Diagnostics. Gundry also uses Singulex. I have the tests drawn at the same time, however on the first iteration, my True Health samples went missing in FedEx, so it was drawn a month after the Singulex. Singulex does not test NMR. I had a LABCORP NMR done two days after the Singulex.

Thanks, George! That's pretty much what I remembered. So, it's possible to have higher (>90) small LDL-P with low (<30) sdLDL, but how about the opposite? If one has small LDL-P <90, is sdLDL presumed to be <30?

LDL III: 282 nmol/L
LDL IV: 97 nmol/L
LDL-C (calculated via "Friedewald formula"): 72 mg/dL / HDL-C: 77 mg/dL
LDL-C (calculated via "Iranian formula"): 62 mg/dL / HDL-C 77 mg/dL
Non-HDL Cholesterol: 85 mg/dL
